How lucky to receive a little snow the day after Christmas. It was such a beautiful gift from above:) The great part was the roads were clear so I could not resist heading over to my favorite place around here for some pictures and a 2 hour hike. We even got to see a huge coyote and some cool animal tracks. This was my first ever hiking in the snow and it felt truly magical! I'm sharing a few of the pics.

The park ended up closing the gates to cars and so you had to park in the drive and walk in. I think it's because some people were showing off and doing donuts and tearing up the place but I'm not certain.
The donuts wouldn't surprise me! I'm glad you got to enjoy it though.
