Well, last night I stayed up and watched the Presidential Debate between Obama and McCain----to be honest it really wasn't much of a debate, anyway I'm not going to get into my thoughts on that at the moment.
In our Home school Co-op the kids are doing Nutrition and the Election process. So I thought I would extend off of that at home and do more. The home school mom has got a lot of great links to follow: http://www.thehomeschoolmom.com/schoolroom/elections.php
I also spent this afternoon requesting several books from the library for us to read more.
I know I have said it before, I've never been a big politics person but I am learning a lot right a long with the kids. So this should be fun!

That debate STUNK! I watched a Charlie Brown cartoon yesterday with Jordan. It was a video of The Great Pumpkin and You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown. The Election cartoon was pretty funny and so relevant to now, even though it was made in the mid 70s! Have fun researching with the kids, they'll be the better for it!
