Megan's 4!!!

Gosh, It is so had to believe 4 years just flew by. I enjoy spending my days with her so much. The days just keep flying by. To celebrate My brother and my parents came over.

  • We had Papa John's Pizza

  • Opened Presents

  • Broke the Pinata

  • Pinned the tail on the Donkey

  • Played with her new presents

  • Played with the Helium Balloon faces

  • Had an Ice cream Cake which was mostly Ice cream

  • Also me and Tyler talked Billy into trying Letter Flip and we played a few rounds of it as well as our home made ball throwing game.

After my parents left Megan had fun Dancing with her How to Ballerina DVD and Dancing mat, then we played with her Vinyl Princess Doll book and then played Star Wars Lego on the Computer with Tyler.

I am so very thankful to have parents that care so much and always spend all the holidays with us. They have always been actively involved. I love them so very much. Birthdays for some reason get me down, because it means everyone is getting older and someday they will no longer be able to share in everything, and other than Todd's mom who calls and gets together with us when she can(And once in a while--like once a year or once in 10 years I hear from a few other family members), My parents and Brother really are all I have. I'm not saying I don't have a family, I have a huge family but you only hear from them though a Christmas Card-on the good years- or major sickness and death. Why is it that some people will respond faster to a funeral than they will a wedding, a birth, birthday parties or things such as that. I would rather you saw me while I was here to hug and say hello than at my funeral when I can't say see you later. I envy those out there that still have big caring families that get together and keep in touch. Thank goodness my parents do such a good job at making sure I know how much they care, they are so great, I only wish there were more people like them in the world. OK so I guess that was my pity session for myself. I wonder how many other people feel this way and go though the same thing? I bet this day and time there are alot more people now than there were 100 years ago with similar lives.

We looked at getting our girls that ballerina dancing mat/DVD. Is it good? What age level would you say it's geared towards?
