Even though our house does not have any offers yet we wanted to go ahead and begin having an idea of the choices for neighborhoods. DR Horton has a new coming soon neighborhood that I've been waiting for them to put the information out on. They finally called and said they had the lots and floorplans ready. We met the salesperson in one of there other neighborhoods. We really disliked both the floorplans and the lot size( 1/5 - 1/4 of an acre). Currently we have 3/4 of an acre plus an entire forest behind us, also our current neighborhood is all custom built homes with very nice yards. The lots in the neighborhood we looked in were more narrow than our current home is wide. We were shocked. 
But the bright side and why I've been watching it is because of it's location. Todd would be 10 mins to work. Me and the kids would be 10 mins to everything in Columbia. The zoo, state museum, Edventure, downtown parks and library. Also the neighborhood will have a pool, playground, volleyball court, sidewalks, and an activity field.
The kids did enjoy the clubhouse were we met the saleperson. It was a big red barn. I wanted to take more pictures but only had a chance to take a few.
